…there’s so much more to life than hungry wolves and pat-a-cake’s. That’s why we translate wisdom, science and self-development tools into the language that kids love - to create materials that both inspire and inform.
HI, I’M SHILPA
So a bit about me..
As a child, I was very shy and lacked confidence - but I had no idea this was something that I could change.
I just thought this was me and other people were other people. And generally they were better at talking than me.
And then in 2011, on struggling with direction and confidence in my career, on a whim, I reached out to coach. That started me on a journey of self-development. I learned about values, and beliefs. And I became calmer, braver and more relaxed. I was hooked.
I went on to do a coaching qualification and embarked on a self-taught journey of discovering everything I could about personal development. But although I toyed with becoming a coach, it never felt quite right.
Then in 2014 and 2017, I became a mum of 2 girls.
I FELT A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY TO HELP MY DAUGHTERS NAVIGATE THE WORLD, BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHERE TO START.
I could find limited resources to help me.
Then one day, by chance my daughter brought me some cheap, unopened oil paints…
At this point, I had not used oil paints - my beloved medium - since I was 16.
Something woke up in me. I started creating again.
IN THE WEEKS THAT FOLLOWED, SOMETHING CLICKED.
Why not combine my passion for self-development with art and poetry (I stopped writing poetry too when I was 10) to teach kids self-worth, trust and awareness from birth?
This was the stuff I needed to know when I was little.
Mindset, Mimi & Me was born.
I LOVE THE VEDIC CONCEPT OF DHARMA - I’D FOUND MINE.
The threads running through my life had all come together.
I now translate wisdom, SCIENCE and self-development into a language that kids love:
